Background

Dr. Chase Christenson received his BS in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Texas at San Antonio. He attended the University of Texas at Austin and Oden Institute for his MS and PhD in Biomedical Engineering. He is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Scientific Computing and Imaging Institute at the University of Utah. This is his first time living outside of Texas.

Current Responsibilities

Dr. Christenson is working with Dr. Amir Arzani to build multiscale models of tumor growth and response to therapies. This work will focus on building computational platforms for in-silico clinical trials and patient derived digital twins by combining mechanistic models for oncology and SciML.
