Background

I am originally from Thakurgaon, a small town in Bangladesh. After completing my schooling there, I ventured to Khulna to study Computer Science and Engineering at Khulna University of Engineering and Technology. I graduated with a Bachelor of Computer Science and Engineering in 2017. I then moved to the capital city of Bangladesh, Dhaka, where I worked as a lecturer of Computer Science at the University of Information Technology and Sciences and Daffodil International University for two years. In 2019, I decided to pursue higher education and came to the United States to obtain a Ph.D. in Computer Science. I began my Ph.D. at the University of Arizona in the Fall of 2019. I later transferred to the University of South Florida in the Fall of 2021 and worked with Dr. Paul Rosen. I spent a fantastic year at USF and graduated with an MS in Computer Science in the Summer of 2022. I then followed Dr. Rosen to the University of Utah in the Fall of 2022, where he joined the Scientific Computing and Imaging Institute (SCI).
