Background
- I completed my Honors Bachelors of Science in Computer Science at Idaho State University
- I was an undergraduate research assistant for Dr. John Edwards at Idaho State University, where I studied GPGPU accelerated construction of object separating octrees
- I was also a research assistant for James Money in the Applied Visualization Lab at the Center for Applied Energy Studies at Idaho National Laboratories, where I explored hierarchical volume visualization techniques for CAVE and VR environments.
- Software Development Intern under Wayne Wooten at Pixar, where I added automatic python bindings for the RenderMan 22 API for use in interactive ray tracing applications and internal testing purposes
Current Responsibilities
- Investigating emerging graphics technologies for scientific visualization applications
- Developing interaction techniques for scientific data exploration
- Regularly demonstrate ongoing research
