Background

I am a Ph.D. student working with Dr. Paul Rosen at the Scientific Computing and Imaging Institute, School of Computing, Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Utah. Before joining the University of Utah, I completed my master’s from the University of South Florida in the department of Computer Science and Engineering (2021-2022). I have completed my bachelor’s from Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (Bangladesh), in Computer Science & Engineering (2014-2018). I worked as a faculty member (Lecturer) at Eastern University in the Computer Science department (2020-2022). I taught several fundamental courses in Computer Science there. During my junior year at my bachelor’s, I worked as an Intern at IP Vision Inc. (2016) where I worked with Q/A teams that focused on cross-platform interactions of a social media app named “ringID”.

Current Responsibilities

With my advisor, we are currently working on a project that focuses on how effectively we can draw reeb graphs of complex objects.
I am also working with my advisor and Dr. Canavan and his student Anis (From the University of South Florida) on a Project named “Affective-TDA” where we are trying to use the tool of topological data analysis in the field of Affective computing for emotion detection from temporal data.

Research Interests

  • Scientific Data Visualization
  • Topological Data Analysis
